I began takeing pictures some 25 years as an avid hobbyist. I have photographed nature, architecture, gardens, wildlife and people. In 1997 I wanted to experiment with wedding photography and had the pleasure of following a professional photographer during a wedding shoot. That night, I fell in love with wedding photography. In 1999 I opened Durell's Photography and have since photographed over 300 weddings and countless family portraits as weel as high school seniors. I am spontaneous, fun and experienced. My flow posing style will not consume your wedding night.

My goal is to have fun with you during your photo shoot and create great images that are timeless and elegant. "I love capturing the story of a beautiful wedding ceremony. But I also like spending time with a family, creating a memorable portrait. I really have no preference. Every shoot is fun filled with unique possibilities."
